Writing
I write Fundamental Stack, where I pull apart the systems and companies shaping the world one layer at a time, until you can actually see how they work. Every piece of tech we use rests on a stack of ideas we never see, basically algorithms, protocols, data structures, and physics, and each deep dive takes one system end to end, like Google Search, Stripe, Starlink, or Cloudflare: the problem it solves, how it's built, and the core ideas that make it possible. I try to define every term intuitively, so you don't need a CS degree to follow along.
I'm writing them in a deliberate order, from communication to computation to data to trust to intelligence to perception to simulation to physical systems, so each piece builds on the last, though they all stand on their own if you want to jump straight to whatever interests you. I started it because I realized there's no central repository of technical knowledge like this, and writing these is how I make sure I really understand the incredible tech powering our everyday lives.
