Munchr
Munchr helps Duke students find snacks across campus vending machines, but the cooler half is the flip side - every search becomes demand data showing operators what people wanted but couldn't find.
Munchr is a two-sided product. For students it’s a mobile-first map and search for finding snacks and drinks across Duke’s campus vending machines. For the operators who stock those machines it’s demand intelligence, and that’s the part I’m most proud of: the insight I kept coming back to is that sales data only tells you what people bought, but Munchr can tell you what people wanted and couldn’t find. Every search a student makes becomes an analytics event, and the operator console turns all of that into a demand report with unmet-demand numbers and stocking recommendations, basically closing the gap between what’s sitting in the machine and what people actually want.
